Gene cell therapy

Gene cell therapy will undoubtedly usher in a new breakthrough in 2020. In a recent report, BCG consulting said that 75 clinical trials of gene therapy had entered the start-up phase in 2018, almost double the number of trials started in 2016 – a momentum that is likely to continue next year. Several pharmaceutical companies have reached key milestones in the late development of therapies, or some have been approved by the FDA.

As large pharmaceutical companies and small start-ups push their gene cell therapy to clinics and hospitals, the future will become clearer. According to Dr. John ZAIA, director of the city of hope gene therapy center, the existing cancer treatment methods will show hope in early research and be warmly welcomed by cancer patients.
